This is the complete list of every limit ListMatchGenie enforces, per plan. When you hit a limit, the app surfaces a clear error with an upgrade link. No silent truncation.

What's not gated
These things are the same across plans:
- Matching algorithm quality — no "premium" matching
- Data residency choices (US/EU/UK)
- Security posture (encryption, PII handling)
- GDPR compliance tools (DSAR export, right to deletion)
- Cleansing rules and profiles
- Basic row-level audit columns (
_lmg_row_id,_lmg_match_status, etc.)
Hitting a limit
Behavior when you hit each type of limit:
Volume limit (at upload)
Error displayed on the upload screen: "Your file has 15,000 rows. Starter plan allows up to 10,000. Upgrade to Pro or split your file."
Job count limit
Error when starting a new match: "You've used 50 of 50 match jobs this month. Quota resets on April 13. Upgrade for more."
AI questions limit
In a report's follow-up Q&A: "You've reached your monthly AI question limit. Quota resets on April 13. Upgrade for more questions." The question is not answered; you can still read the existing report.
Storage limit
Error when uploading a new file: "Total storage would exceed 5 GB. Delete files or upgrade." Nothing is uploaded until resolved.
Share links limit
"You have 10 active share links (your limit). Revoke an existing link or upgrade." Existing links continue to work.
Grace periods
When you downgrade from a higher tier and are over the new tier's limits:
- Existing data stays until you manually delete.
- No new operations that would exceed limits can happen.
- Reports and shares already generated remain accessible, not revoked.
You're not forcibly truncated; you just can't create more until you're back under the cap.
