The Billing page is where you manage your ListMatchGenie subscription and see how your usage tracks against your tier limits. It lives under Account → Billing in the main nav.
What you see
Current plan
A card showing your plan name, monthly price, and subscription status. Status is one of:
active— subscription current, no action neededtrialing— in a free-trial period, no charge yetpast_due— payment failed, retry pendingcancelled— scheduled to end at the current period's closepaused— subscription paused (Business plans)
If status isn't active, an amber banner appears with a CTA to resolve the issue.
Usage cards
Four cards across the top show your current month's usage against your tier limits:
Largest source jobThe largest single source-row count across matches this month, vs your tier's source-row cap. Hitting this cap means a specific match was too big, not that you've exhausted a quota.
Match jobs this monthCount of match jobs you've completed this month, vs your tier's monthly cap.
AI questions this monthCount of AI questions (in reports and insights) asked this month, vs your tier's cap.
StorageTotal bytes used across master and source files, vs your tier's storage cap.
Each card shows a progress bar and percentage. If any metric is ≥85%, an overage warning banner appears at the top of the page.
Plan chooser
A visual grid of all four tiers (Free, Starter, Pro, Business) with up/down arrows for easy comparison. Features and limits listed per plan. Click any plan to start an upgrade or downgrade.
Invoice history
If you have a Stripe subscription, a table of all invoices appears at the bottom:
- Invoice number
- Date
- Amount and currency
- Status (paid, pending, failed)
- Download PDF link
Invoices are the authoritative record for your accounts team. Stripe hosts the PDFs; clicking the download link goes through Stripe.
Actions
Upgrade
Click the Upgrade button on any tier higher than your current. You'll be redirected to a Stripe Checkout session, pre-filled with your email. Upon successful payment, the new plan activates immediately and a prorated invoice appears in your history.
Downgrade
Click the Downgrade button on any tier lower than your current. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period — you're not refunded for the unused time on the higher tier. A confirmation dialog explains the timeline and which features you'll lose.
If downgrading below your current usage (e.g. from Pro to Starter while using 200 match jobs/month), you'll see a warning. You can still proceed, but some features will be disabled at the period's end.
Cancel
Click Cancel subscription to end your plan at the current period's close. You keep full access until the period ends, then your account reverts to Free. Your data is not deleted — it remains accessible on Free (subject to Free-tier limits) or you can re-subscribe to restore everything.
Manage payment method
Click Manage billing to open the Stripe customer portal. From there you can:
- Update payment method (card, bank, whatever your region supports)
- Change billing address
- Manage tax IDs
- Download past invoices (same ones shown on this page)
Currency and tax
ListMatchGenie supports USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, and more. Your currency is set at first checkout based on your billing address. Applicable taxes (VAT, GST) are calculated and collected automatically via Stripe Tax. See Currencies and tax.
